OUR METHOD

Editorial policy

Primary sources and technical scope

Technical claims, dimensional terminology, and testing protocols are grounded in OEM operating manuals, closure supplier specifications, and industry research publications. Every article links directly to its supporting primary sources.

Qualification checklists and specimen-record worksheets are structured to help packaging teams organize dimensional checks, line trials, and torque measurements alongside their own controlled package specifications.

Technical diagrams

Cross-sectional diagrams and process schematics illustrate functional relationships between bottle neck finishes, liners, actuators, and capping heads. Production tooling clearances and finish tolerances must always be taken from the controlled supplier engineering drawings for the specific container and closure pair.

Updates and revisions

Articles display the month of their latest technical review and are updated when underlying standards or manufacturer specifications change.

Editorial independence
